PRE AND POST HOLI - SKIN AND HAIR CARE
Holi is one of the most awaited vibrant festivals of India. With food and friendship, dancing and singing, the mischief and masti, it is a time to celebrate your bonds and welcome the spring with cheer and optimism. But the melee of colors sprayed and splashed in enthusiasm can sometimes be harsh for our skin. Especially those with sensitive skin can erupt with rashes, itching, breakouts, allergies, scalp irritations, inflammation and discoloration.
Holi colours were traditionally made from herbs and spring flowers; in fact, such colours also had therapeutic value. But now, unfortunately chemicals and industrial dyes have slowly replaced flowers and herbs.

Petroleum Jelly – the ingredient you don’t need
Seasonal changes and stressful lifestyles bring up skin issues like dryness, flakiness, chapping, rash and sensitivity. Pollution and environmental allergens also trigger a variety of flu like symptoms from stuffy nose, sneezing, headaches and congestion. Be it the need to fight winter dryness, or soothe sundry body aches and pains, products with petroleum jelly have made their way into our lives.
Generally, petroleum jelly is used as lip and skin moisturizers to heal cuts and small scraps, as bases for pain relief balms, cold relief rubs and in many skin cremes.
